There is little awareness of its existence; however, what could be called “the mother of all soft skills” is essential for 21st century leaders. What recent neuroscience research tells us is that adaptive intelligence allows you to deal with novelty and complexity and to optimize your potential. It also helps you find the right way of communicating in each situation, through the decoding of human functioning.
The good news is that it can be trained, like a muscle, by practising certain exercises. In this sessions, participants will discover some of the exercises availble from the Neurocognitive and Behavioral Approach (NCA). In this session, and in her book of the same name, Furkan Karayel explains how inclusive intelligence is the meeting point of emotional intelligence and inclusive leadership, and can support you in being a role model for D&I in the workplace. Its methodology is based on a series of interviews and years of detailed research conducted with team leaders and managers in a variety of global companies. Furkan found a pattern in some leaders who naturally excelled at inclusive leadership even though they were unaware of it and unable to define it.
