Mihaela is a former Tax & Law Leader CESA South Cluster within Ernst & Young Romania. She joined the Bucharest practice of PwC Romania in 1997 and became a Partner in July 2004. In 2013 she was appointed Tax & Legal Services Leader for the PwC Romania and South East Europe, including Moldova, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia and Slovenia. Currently, Mihaela is Managing Partner at her own company Global Tax Advise.
She is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest with a degree in Economics and she holds a PhD in Taxation. Since 2011 she is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and she completed a series of programs such as: the Harvard Business School YPO-WPO Presidents’ Program, Leading with Purpose Programme at INSEAD.
She is also a member of the Romanian Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (CECCAR), former Vice-president and Member of the Board of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants (CCF) and former Vice-president of CFE (Confédération Fiscale Européenne) and holds a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching, Academy of Executive Coaching.
Mihaela is an associate professor in the Master Degree Programme for University of Economic Studies and Law University.
Mihaela is frequently invited as key note speaker or moderator in prominent business events. Her expert opinion is often featured in Romanian mainstream media.
